Hippodan
is based on natural ingredients and contains no cholesterol.
Hippodan
may be considered either as a supplement or as a replacement for up to 1 kilo
of the coarse fodder given to the horse. However,
Hippodan
does not burn in the body in the same way as traditional oil.
Positive components are accumulated and deposited in the cell membranes of the horse as energy reserves. And it is the liquid, unsaturated oil, which Hippodan consist of that has a very high level of the 2 vital fatty acids: omega-6 (linoleic acid) and in particular omega-3 (alfa-linolenic acid). The same 2 fatty acids that most horses get too little of. The horses absorb the fatty acids in their cells and transform these into friendly hormones like prostaglandins. The process takes place in the vascular system and the kidneys and thereby regulates vital functions. |
